Ferrite Magnets
Category : Permanent Magnets
We're here to help
Easy ways to get the answers you need.
Introduction
1. Ferrite magnets are ceramic compounds of iron oxides, such as hematite (Fe2O3) or magnetite (Fe3O4), and other metal oxides.
2. Ceramic magnets are hard and brittle. According to magnetic properties, they can be classified into “soft” ones and “hard” ones. “Soft” magnets have small coercive force, while “hard” ones are featured by large coercive force.
3. Ferrites produced by us are mainly permanent magnetic ferrite. They are widely utilized in electronic industry, IT industry, automobile industry, etc.
4. Our ferrite magnets have passed ISO9001, ISO14001, GB/T28001 and SGS.
Shapes
1. Charcoal gray magnets are in shapes of discs, rings, blocks, cylinders, arcs, etc.
2. We also customize ceramic ferrites in various shapes according to customers’ requirements.
Choose Ceramic Magnet from Following Shapes
Features of Ceramic Magnet
They are featured by good temperature resistance, low production cost, large magnetic permeability and good magnetic performance. Besides, they are easy to achieve magnetic saturation.
Production Procedures of Ferrite Magnet
(1) Materials Preparing
(2) Pre-Heating
(3) Smashing
(4) Ball-Milling
(5) Making Powder
(6) Pressing
(7) Sintering
(8) Machining Ferrite Magnet
(9) Checking Ceramic Magnet
(10) Packaging
Surface Treatment
Polarities are marked with epoxy resin spraying.
Maintenance of Permanent Magnetic Ferrite
DO NOT place ferrite magnets in following environments to prevent them from rusting or reducing magnetic performance.
1. Acid or Alkali Liquor
2. Organic Solvent
3. Electrolyte
4. Water or Oil
5. Hydrogen
6. Active Gas like Chlorine, Ammonia and Oxynitride
7. Radiation or Radioactive Rays
Package and Delivery of Ceramic Magnet
1. They are packaged in cartons.
2. During transportation, handle the cargo with care. Besides, cargos should be protected from damage caused by shock and rain. They should be placed in ventilated, dry, no-erosion environment.
